An Italian inlay of musical instruments graces the lid of this fine box in Elm with a wide border of Rosewood. The filetto border is a special touch that adds to the mastery of this marquetry. It measures 8" L x 5" W x 2 3/4" H and boasts a dark chocolate colored plush lining and ring slide in its 3 1/2" square compartment. When its lid is lifted it will activate the mechanism and play Beethoven's "Ode to Joy." Swiss 18 note movement and as with upscale Italian music boxes, it has a lock and key.
