A vintage charmer with mandolin, Music and wind instrument inlay. In Bird's Eye Maple, this Italian made, long and narrow shaped music box stands on little brass feet and measures approximately 8 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" high. It features a 4 1/2" x 2 1/4", compartment with interior lining of a wine colored crushed velvet that covers the mechanism.
Please keep in mind that the pattern of bird's eyes in the wood can vary but if you appreciate Bird's Eye Maple you will enjoy any one of these lovely boxes. It is also available in a beautiful walnut with same marquetry. Both are bordered with a light cream colored purfling reminiscent of a fine insrtument.
