This is a very special little box with two beautiful swallowtail butterflies in fine marquetry and beautiful burled elm in high gloss (which doesn't show well in the photo). It has cut corners to add to its grace and measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". The mechanism will be activated and visible when you open the lid. There is no compartment for jewels. It just focuses on the mechanism playing your selected tune! This is a perfect piece for the coffee table and/or for any occasion.
