The Arte Felquerez sculptures, made of iron covered with paper mache, depict a wide variety of activities, children playing and musicians with their different instruments.
Manuel Felquerez, the talented Mexican painter and sculptor, created the first figurines in 1964. Since 1988 his work has been continued by artist Luis Fequerez under the name Arte Felguerez. The original characteristics of the sculptures have been preserved as well as extended to include many new images and ideas.
Since each piece is created entirely by hand using traditional tools and techniques production is limited and no two pieces are exactly alike. Each has the Felquerez signature to insure that it is a genuine collectible.
