Carol of the Bells is a popular Christmas carol, with music by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych. It was written in 1914[1] with lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky. Based on the Ukrainian folk chant Shchedryk.[2] The music is in the public domain, Wilhousky’s lyrics are under copyright protection (owned by Carl Fischer Music).
