A small charming inlaid ballerina in a beige tutu is framed within a filetto border that adorns the lid of this beautiful little pinkish-lilac music box. It allows you to view the mechanism as it plays and features a compartment with ring bar that is lined in beige velvet. It measures 5" x 4 1/4" and stands about 2 3/4" upon tiny brass feet. We have many appropriate melodies for the ballet lover or you may select your favorite tune from our 18 note tune list above.

The Italian word "filetto" translated means "thread" and therefore the pattern that was used and framed with a Filetto border has (in English), a "thread-like" border. Skilled marquetry is required for this extra delicate inlay.
